Balchem is engaged in the development, manufacture, distribution and marketing of specialty performance ingredients and products for the nutritional, food, pharmaceutical, animal health, medical device sterilization, plant nutrition and industrial markets. Co. has three segments: Human Nutrition and Health, which provides human grade choline nutrients and mineral amino acid chelated products for nutrition and health applications; Animal Nutrition and Health, which provides nutritional products derived from Co.'s microencapsulation and chelation technologies in addition to basic choline chloride; and Specialty Products, which distributes ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and ammonia.
