Himax Technologies is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is a fabless semiconductor solution provider focused on display imaging processing technologies. Co. has two operating segments: Driver integrated circuit, which is engaged in the design, research, development and sale of displays driver for large-sized thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels and displays driver for small and medium-sized TFT-LCD panels; and Non-driver Products, which is engaged in the design, research, manufacturing and sale of non-driver products, such as timing controllers, liquid crystal on silicon, complementary metal oxide semiconductor image sensors and wafer level optics.
