Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is an infrastructure construction company. Co. operates its business in two segments: Renewables, which focuses on providing engineering, procurement and construction services for the renewable energy, conventional power and civil infrastructure industries; and Specialty Civil, which focuses on environmental remediation services such as site development, rail infrastructure services such as planning, design, procurement, construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects for main railway and intermodal facilities, and heavy civil construction services such as road and bridge construction.
