El Pollo Loco Holdings is a holding company. Through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, El Pollo Loco, Inc., Co. develops, franchises, licenses and operates quick-service restaurants under the name El Pollo Loco ®. The restaurants, which are located principally in California but also in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Utah and Louisiana, focused on fire-grilling citrus-marinated chicken in a variety of Mexican and LA-inspired entrees, including chicken burritos, chicken quesadillas, chicken tostada salads, chicken tortilla soup, variations on Co.'s Pollo Bowl®, Pollo Salads and its Pollo Fit entrees.
