OM Asset Management is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is a global asset management business with interests in a group of boutique investment management firms (the affiliates). Co. provides investment management services globally to predominantly institutional investors, in asset classes that include U.S. and global equities, fixed income, alternative assets, real estate and timber. As of Dec 31 2016, Co.'s affiliates managed assets for non-U.S. clients in 30 countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, and the U.K. As of Dec 31 2016, Co.'s total assets under management is US$240.4 billion.
