Western Refining is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is a crude oil refiner and marketer of refined products. Co. has four business segments: refining, which operates refineries that makes various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and other products from crude oil, other feedstocks and blending components; Northern Tier Energy LP, which process a range of light, heavy, sweet and sour crudes into refined products; Western Refining Logistics, LP, which owns and operates terminal, storage, transportation and wholesale assets; and retail, which operates retail stores and unmanned commercial fueling locations that sell various grades of gasoline and diesel fuel.
